Travian. It is the nerdiest thing ever, but it is really fun! It is browser based and it's free. You have one goal in the game: have your nation survive as long as possible. First you build up your resources, then you build up your workforce, then you build up your army. My favorite part however, is the diplomacy. It is a real diplomacy, where you talk to other people instead of to computers. The regular servers are great for starting out but special servers let you play three times as fast. There's much more to Travian than this and I warn you It is addictive!

I've been hearing a lot lately about the Travian cheats. Is there a "magic code" to increase crops, troops, wonders, villages and to make yourself the biggest travian player ever by simply entering a couple of codes? I'll tell you right away: there is no such thing. At least not yet. Every system is breakable so I wouldn't be surprised if something similar emerges in the near future but to this day no such thing has really worked.

However there are ways to make yourself a winner. One of the most "useful" is hacking the travian account of your enemy's village. How do people hack someone's account? Well they usually use various torrents and peer-to-peer softwares which allow them to find passwords and usernames. Also there are programs which use brute force to try with thousands of combinations until the right one is found. Be ware that brute force is easily spotted by servers and it will eventually lead to the "attack-IP" being banned. So there is a way to hack someone's travian as well as all other kinds of accounts but this involves knowledge and time. It may also take all the pleasure out of the game because it kills the best feeling ever: Being more skillful and simply being better player than all the others. As far as the hacking of the account is concerned I must say this kind of knowledge would also be very appreciated in CIA or FSB operations.
